Abstract:

We summarize the results of narrow-band (H$\alpha$ and [O III] $\lambda$5007Å) imaging of eight planetary nebulae taken during recent observing campaigns: We present the probably largest known PN, MWP1, with a linear diameter of about 6pc. We show first narrow-band images of He2-437, MeWe1-5, MeWe1-8, MeWe1-9, NGC1360, and of - like we term them - the "Galactic footballs'' A43 and NGC7094.

We report about a search for planetary nebulae around eleven extremely hot (pre-) white dwarfs which had not been successful.

Key words: planetary nebulae: general -- planetary nebulae: individual: A43; He2-437; MWP1; NGC1360; NGC7094
