Abstract:

Using a semiclassical approach, we have calculated electron-, proton-, and ionized helium-impact line widths and shifts for 14 Ba I and 64 Ba II multiplets for perturber densities 10tex2html_wrap_inline1025- 10tex2html_wrap_inline1029 cmtex2html_wrap_inline1031 and temperatures tex2html_wrap_inline1033 K for Ba I and tex2html_wrap_inline1035 K for Ba II. The results have been compared with available experimental and theoretical data.
