Abstract:

The Asteroids 40 Harmonia, 45 Eugenia and 52 Europa have been studied photometrically. From their lightcurves synodic periods of $8^{\rm h}54^{\rm m}36^{\rm s}$, $5^{\rm h}42^{\rm m}00^{\rm s}$ and $5^{\rm h}37^{\rm m}46^{\rm s}$, and maximum amplitudes of $0\hbox{$.\!\!^{\rm m}$ }15$, $0\hbox{$.\!\!^{\rm m}$ }12$ and $0\hbox{$.\!\!^{\rm m}$ }20$, have been deduced for 40 Harmonia, 45 Eugenia and 52 Europa, respectively. Improved solutions for the sense of rotation, sidereal period, pole orientation and shape properties are proposed.

Key words: minor planets, asteroids -- techniques: photometric
