2 The data

We present for illustrative purposes spectra of several high redshift radio galaxies ($z\sim 2.5$) obtained with the Low Resolution Imaging Spectrometer (LRISp, Oke et al. 1995) at the Keck II telescope. Detailed description of the observing runs and data reduction will be presented in Vernet et al. (2001, in preparation).
