FGC 362 We were unable to reconfirm the detection of FGC 362 at $V_{\rm h}=6472$ km s^-1 reported by Giovanelli et al. (1997).

FGC 522 No optical counterpart exists on the DSS at the catalogued position of FGC 522, and this object was subsequently excluded from the Revised FGC (Karachentsev et al. 1999). The nearest galaxy to this position on the DSS is FGC 524, $5\hbox{$.\mkern-4mu^\prime$ }9$ away.

FGC 1966 We find no H I feature coinciding with the optically-derived redshift of $V_{\rm h}=8434$ km s^-1 reported for FGC 1966 by Makarov et al. (1999).

FGC 2357 We were unable to reconfirm the detection of FGC 2357 at $V_{\rm h}=8163$ km s^-1 reported by Giovanelli et al. (1997).
