The observed spectrum of BD+63
1964, HD 183143, BD+40
4220 and
other standard stars used in the DIB survey. The telluric standard, HD 32630, is shown
on top. HD 205021, a slow rotator, is good for indicating positions of
stellar lines, which are also identified on top. The stellar standard HD 37128 is a
close match in spectral type for BD+63
1964. The fourth spectrum from the
top, ``BD+63 1964/HD 37128'', corrects the stellar lines in BD+63
1964's spectrum, leaving only interstellar features, after
division by the spectrum of HD 37128. This spectrum is shifted in velocity for adequate
matching of stellar lines. The synthetic spectrum in absolute wavelength frame represents
the absorption of DIBs measured in our spectrum of BD+63
1964, along with some
important interstellar species. Note that the scale for BD+40
4220 is different to that of
the other spectra and is displayed on the right |
