For evolved G and K stars, metallicity calibrations have been derived for
CN and three other L-R parameters. For G and K dwarfs, two
calibrations have been obtained. For metallicities obtained from the
calibrations, rms errors turn out to be comparable to those for averaged H-D
results. No pair of calibrations is found for which averaging of results
definitely yields improved rms errors.
