Appendix II. Key numbers to levels

This Appendix contains 7 tables with key numbers to the considered energy levels of Fe XVII-Fe XXIV and one table with a key to transitions in some H- & He-like ions and their satellites. The level numbers are based on a convention introduced by D.A. Liedahl in his calculations with the HULLAC code. This convention is mostly followed in indentifications of the lines in the Fe L complex in the current MEKAL code.
