In fact variability of OGLEGC212, 213, 214, 216, 243, 245 and 246 was reported recently by Kaluzny et al. (1997c). These authors surveyed a western part of the cluster covering a region overlapping with fields 104A and 104C. It is encouraging that all but one variable from Kaluzny et al. (1997c) were recovered in the current study. We missed variable V8 which is very faint and was not included on the list of template stars for the field 104A.
