Up: The UMIST Database

On-line access to the database

The database is up-dated on a regular, usually annual, basis. The current version is kept on-line and can be accessed via the World Wide Web at URL http://saturn.phy.umist.ac.uk:8000/tex2html_wrap_inline10856tjm/rate/rate.html, which contains a short article describing the data and links to the files containing the species set (Table 2), the dipole moments (Table 3), the heats of formation (Table 2) and the rate coefficients (Table 4). A link can also be found here to a FORTRAN program, DELOAD, originally written by Dr L.A.M. Nejad, which reads the species set and reaction file and writes output in the form of a FORTRAN subroutine.

Keeping a database such as this up-to-date is a difficult and time-consuming task. Any additions, corrections, suggestions for improvement or other comments on this database will be gratefully received by T.J. Millar (e-mail address: tjm@ast.phy.umist.ac.uk).
