Abstract:
We inspected a sky region with declination range of
[

based on the SERC EJ plate copies. As a result a list
of 50 nearby dwarf galaxy candidates with angular diameters
is presented. Most of the galaxies have low and very low surface
brightness.
More than 60% of the objects are detected for the first time.
